Why is it important?
For potential customers, it is important to hear back from you in a timely manner. To help set the expectations, we will start to communicate to both you as a supplier, and to visitors of your profile, information on your response performance. We use two types of metrics: response rate and response time.
These metrics also impact your profile performance on our platform: good responders will receive higher rankings and more leads. Your performance on these metrics can be found in "my account", and we will introduce them to visitors of your profile over the coming months.
Response rate
What is the response rate?
The response rate shows how many direct messages to your company have received a first reply. Both a typed reply and a reply via the 'not interested' button count as a reply, and we only include new requests received in the last 90 days.
How can I improve my response rate?
Always reply to incoming requests. Tip: when the request is not a good fit, write a polite decline or choose one of the fast and easy decline options. To reach a 100% response rate, go to messages and make sure all direct messages in the last 90 days have received a first reply.
Who will see my response rate?
We will only show it to you in "my account". We will reward good responding suppliers with a badge and ranking benefits. Later in 2023, we will also start communicating these metrics on your company profile.
Response time
What is the response time?
The response time shows how quickly your company sends a first reply to a new request. The metric shows the average of the fastest 80% response times. Similar to the response rate, we only include new requests you received in the last 90 days, so it's possible to start replying swiftly today and see the metric improve over time.
How can I improve my response time?
Respond as soon as possible to incoming requests. Tip: need some more time for the full answer? Make it a habit to already thank the purchaser and let them know you'll get back to them soon.
