Visionary with online experience – the management team from Visable

Peter F. Schmid, CEO, Visable

Since August 2012 Peter F. Schmid has been CEO and executive partner at Visable (formerly “Wer liefert was”). 

After studying business at the LMU in Munich, he worked as a brand manager at Procter & Gamble. He then switched to the online vehicle market Autoscout24 early in 1999 shortly after its launch where, as Managing Director, he founded, inter alia, the marketplace operator Scout24 Media. The father of three became Vice President at eBay Classifies and CEO of mobile.de in 2006. Almost four years later he took over management of the online dating agency PARSHIP.

Volker Wahl, CFO, Visable

As CFO, Volker Wahl has been responsible for controlling at the company as well as finance & accounting since January 2019. He comes to the company from kfzteile24 GmbH where, in his role as CFO, he was responsible for expanding the finance department. 

Early in his career, he held different positions at several sites of the consultancy firm, Bain & Company. Following this, he was responsible for developing the finance department at Congstar GmbH while the company grew from a start-up into a leading telecommunications firm. In 2012, he moved to HRS where his main responsibilities as finance manager were internationalisation as well as the acquisition and integration of hotel.de AG. Volker Wahl is a qualified industrial engineer.

Daniel Keller, CTO, Visable

Daniel Keller has been in the role of CTO since January 2019 and is responsible for software development, IT operations, business applications & business intelligence. 

Keller previously worked at the company builder, Hitfox Group, where he also held the position of CTO. Prior to that, he had been working at Axel Springer SE from 2012. In addition to the central IT areas, he was also responsible for countless digitisation projects.Keller started his career at the BMW Group before moving to AutoScout24 GmbH, where he spent almost five years expanding the company’s R&D sector. In 2005, he started at Ciao GmbH where, as managing director and executive director of Greenfield Online, Inc. (NASDAQ), he was chiefly involved in selling Microsoft products. After several research projects with Microsoft in the USA, Keller became CTO at zanox AG (awin) in 2010. Daniel Keller has a Masters degree in Computer Science and an MBA. From July 2017 to December 2018, Keller was a member of the advisory board of “Wer liefert was”.

Sebastian Keller has been responsible for product management at Visable (formerly “Wer liefert was”) since August 2018. In this function, he leads the further development of searches, new functions for buyers and suppliers, as well as the development of market activities and traffic management. 

Sebastian Keller studied business administration, majoring in information systems, and organization in Regensburg. He then accumulated 16 years of experience in product management in various international online companies such as AutoScout24, Holidaycheck, and start ups such as Tirendo or more recently Holidu, where he was responsible for Product Management.

Patrick Sostmann, CSO, , Visable

As CSO, Patrick Sostmann is responsible for Visable’s (formerly “Wer liefert was”) entire Sales division, which includes the sales channels: Field Sales, Tele Sales, Key Account Management as well as Internal Sales. 

The MBA graduate has more than ten years of senior management experience in sales at an international company. Before joining Visable (formerly “Wer liefert was”), Sostmann was the CSO for LR Global Holding GmbH, where he successfully developed new sales strategies, assumed overall responsibility for global sales, and in the process expanded the company’s international business.

Yvonne Rattay, Senior Director Internal Sales, Visable

As head of the Internal Sales team, Yvonne Rattay has been responsible for Lead Management & CRM and the Sales Operations and Sales Products & Partnerships divisions since April 2017. 

Rattay worked for Visable (formerly “Wer liefert was”) as a Senior Consultant since 2013 and was responsible for various strategic sales projects. As a graduate of the Hamburg Business Academy with a dual degree in business administration, Yvonne Rattay previously held various management positions at Tchibo, most recently as Head of Operations for Branch Sales.

Julien Poilleux, General Manager France, Visable

Julien Poilleux has been part of Visable's management team since May 2018 and, as General Manager, is responsible for Sales outside DACH and our International EUROPAGES B2B platform. 
 Julien Poilleux can look back on various management positions in the B2C and B2B digital environment. Before joining EUROPAGES, he was Business Unit Director at Infopro Digital, one of the main players in the European online B2B segment, where he was jointly responsible for the company's digital growth. Prior to that, he was a member of the CAMIF-Matelsom Group's executive board, holding various positions there (Sales Director, Marketing Director, General Manager UK), a mail order company. He was also a co-founder of the payment service provider Futureo. Julien Poilleux is a graduate of HEC in Paris.
