As a Strategic Business Developer, you will drive high impact strategic initiatives across all departments within the European organization. You will operate at the intersection of strategy, product, marketing, and commercial teams, supporting the scalable growth of the business in a diverse and highly competitive European e-commerce landscape.

Strategic Initiatives
- Lead and execute corporate strategy development projects, including supply and demand platform management
- Design and implement go-to-market and commercialization strategies for new and existing products and services
- Identify and assess new growth opportunities, business models, and partnerships relevant to European B2B e-commerce
- Conduct in-depth market, customer, and competitive analyses across multiple European regions
- Develop robust business cases, financial models, and performance forecasts
- Translate analytical insights into clear recommendations for senior management decision-making
- Work closely with Product, Tech, Marketing, Sales, Data, and Operations teams across Europe
- Coordinate with global stakeholders, including Alibaba headquarters and international business units
- Manage external partners, agencies, or consulting firms as required
- Structure and manage multiple parallel initiatives, ensuring clear milestones, timelines, and measurable outcomes
- Track project performance and ensure delivery against strategic objectives
- Support the development of scalable processes, frameworks, and best practices across European markets

- University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
- 1–4 years of relevant professional experience, ideally:
- in e-commerce, digital platforms, SaaS, or marketplace businesses, or
- in strategy, management, or consulting
- Solid understanding of digital business models and platform economics; B2B marketplace experience is a strong plus
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to structure complex problems
- High proficiency in data analysis, KPIs, and financial modelling
- Experience preparing senior-level presentations and strategic decision documents
- High level of ownership, execution focus, and intellectual curiosity
- Structured, solution-oriented, and pragmatic working style
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders
- Comfortable operating in an international, matrix-driven organization
- Fluent English (written and spoken) is mandatory
- Additional European languages (e.g. German, French, Spanish, Italian) are a strong advantage
