Paris, 08 December 2020 – Visable International, publisher of the EUROPAGES B2B sourcing engine, attracting 40 million visitors a year, 20,000 active customers and about 60 employees who speak 16 languages, is committed to the professional integration of refugees alongside the Kodiko association.
A 6-month programme involving skills sponsorship based on mutual learning between two professionals: one a refugee looking for work and the other in a professional position.

"When we heard about the Kodiko association ("code", in Greek) in February 2020, it was an obvious choice for our company: a meaningful project that reflects our multicultural DNA, where it's all about the mutual transmission of professional and cultural codes in order to promote the rapid and meaningful integration of refugees.
"We propose to be a step, a relay towards autonomy by accompanying refugees towards professional integration, adults, men and women, who, before fleeing, were teachers, sales or marketing specialists, educated, but untouched by French or European company codes. Through this programme, we hope to enable them to find stable employment while contributing to the development of our employees and our community".
For 6 months, 8 employees will accompany 8 refugees to structure their professional project, help them to develop their skills and develop a network thanks to the co-training programme for refugees and employees developed by Cécile Pierrat Schiever, co-founder of Kodiko since 2016.
"Kodiko participates in building a more socially inclusive society by offering companies a solution for employee engagement. Through our structured programme, we accompany refugee professionals in search of employment and create encounters with professionals wishing to contribute to the progress of their project and their integration. Since 2016, more than 600 candidates have been accompanied by Kodiko".
This accompaniment includes both a collective aspect:
- Group workshops led by HR experts and volunteer coaches to strengthen the job search;
- CV workshops, LinkedIn workshops, learning how to pitch your project, professional photo workshops;
- Posture and non-verbal communication coaching;
- Knowing your strengths better.
And an individual aspect :
A 6-month project working in pairs with a professional volunteer supervised by a Konnector and resources dedicated to providing support.
